Data-transfer speed cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on factors which are not under control, such as

• Internet networks of other operators,
• Internet connections of the servers, computers (the PC provided with USB 1.0 ports have a data-transfer rate restricted to 1.5 Mbps according to their build-up standard),
• the technology used (CDMA, 1xEV-DO),
• reception at a certain location,
• wave-propagation,
• distance to the emission-reception station, the number of users connected to the same cell at the same time etc.

The data-transfer rate using the CDMA 1X technology is up to 153.6 Kbps, while in case of the EV-DO technology it goes up to as much as 2.4 Mbps for data-receiving and 153.6 Kbps for data-transmission.
