Zapp Announces Changes in Senior Management Team

Chris Batalliard has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Telemobil S.A., a company that operates Zapp brand, following resignation of former CEO Piermario Di Pietro.

On the technical side Vicentiu Dragomir, Network Operation General Manager, will assume an expanded role taking on also some of the tasks performed by former Chief Technology Officer, Victor Stan who also resigned today.

Piermario Di Pietro will remain a member of the executive board of Telemobil S.A.

The rest of the management team remains unchanged. Respectively the operations, finance, sales, business development, purchasing and corporate affairs departments will continue to be headed by Vijay Srinivasagopalan, Razvan Patrunoiu, Mircea Girbovan, Arda Arkun, Ghassan El Hage and Carmen Lazar.

Commenting on the changes, Nader Hariri said "It is a great advantage to have already such a strong management team in place and with Chris Bataillard assuming the role of CEO I am confident that this company is well prepared and positioned to take advantage of the opportunities and challenges ahead."

These changes follow the recently announced acquisition of Telemobil S.A. by the multinational group Saudi Oger through purchase of Qualcomm Incorporated's 50% shareholding interest in Inquam Limited, Telemobil S.A.'s ultimate holding company.

Saudi Oger Ltd. is the majority shareholder of Oger Telecom, a leading telecom operator in developing markets.
