Zapp Brings Next Generation Technologies at CERF 2005

Zapp, the first provider of nationwide wireless broadband services, welcomes visitors at CERF 2005 with a unique experience of its CDMA2000 1xEV-DO network 3G capabilities.

Thus, at the Zapp stand, visitors can test advanced data solutions daily, such as live high-quality mobile video broadcasts on laptops and PDAs, or Zapp Me applications that turn the mobile phone into a useful professional tool and a mobile entertainment center.

"As the undisputed leader in promoting next-generation technologies, Zapp brings innovating solutions to CERF, securing free communication and unrestricted mobility for our users. Zapp's presence at CERF 2005 proves once more that the company is constantly looking at the future, to find and implement the best communication solutions," said Cuneyt Turktan, President of the Zapp Board.

Zapp will attend the 14th edition of the CERF, between April 20 and 24, with its own stand (Romexpo, Pavillion 17, stand 7100). The Zapp stand will host daily demonstration sessions involving the latest technologies at the core of the advanced services provided by Zapp.

Thus, users will be able to test the Zapp EV-DO/Wi-Fi solution, enabling them to access the Internet using laptops with Wi-Fi cards and PDAs, through an access point incorporating a Z010 modem.

Moreover, the Zapp stand will also present the applications included in the Zapp Me catalogue, metaphorically depicted as a press kiosk, suggesting the multiple options provided by this BREW-based service.

The visitors looking to test the latest technologies will have the opportunity to test the Push-to-talk solution, which turns the mobile telephone into a walkie-talkie, allowing fast and easy individual or group calls.

Zapp has also prepared a contest, with attractive prizes, which visitors can enter by filling a postal card with their impressions of the Zapp stand. The big prize is a Z010 modem, plus a one-year Zapp Internet express 100 subscription.
