Zapp offers international calls at national tariffs towards 80% of the world population

Zapp announces the increase of the number of countries for which international calls have the lowest tariffs to 130.

Therefore, alongside the 110 destinations for which international calls cost $0.19 per minute (for calls to fixed lines) and $0.29 per minute (for calls to mobile networks), a number of 20 new exotic destinations are added: Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Cayman, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Grenada, Guatemala, Haiti, India, Jamaica, Panama, Reunion, Seychelles, Swaziland, Trinidad & Tobago and Turks & Caicos Islands.

"Following the success of the Upgrade International service launched in the spring of 2003 and taking into account the requests of our customers, we also included exotic destinations on the list of countries to which calls from the Zapp networks have the lowest tariffs, so that now we have a very attractive offer for 130 destinations, covering around 80% of the world population" - said Cuneyt Turktan, Chairman of the Zapp Board.

The Upgrade International option allows users to make international calls at competitive prices. Calls are differentiated depending on the type of the destination network - $0.19 per minute for calls to fixed lines and $0.29 per minute for calls to mobile networks, except for USA and Canada, where the tariff is the same for both types of networks - $0.19 per minute.

Access to the Upgrade International service is granted based on a monthly fee of $3, added to any Zapp voice or data subscription, without having to make any collateral deposit.
